How Web3 Gaming Hut and the Clockwork game handle your data, and the rules that apply when you play. Short version: we store the minimum needed to run the game, we run no analytics and show no ads, and your cards are yours.

Who we are

This website and the Clockwork game are operated by Space Misfit, based in Croatia (European Union). For any privacy question or request, contact spacemisfit68@gmail.com. We are the data controller for the processing described below.

What we collect and why

We collect no names, no email addresses, and no account passwords. The game identifies you by your blockchain wallet address, which is pseudonymous but treated as personal data. Linked to that address, our game server stores:

Game state — Cogs and Gold balances, energy, quest progress, equipment, card cooldowns, and chosen abilities. Purpose: running the game you asked to play (performance of a contract).
Leaderboard data — your wins per season, displayed publicly by wallet address as part of the game's competitive mode.
Payment records — transaction hashes or signatures, amounts paid (IMX, SOL, HIVE/HBD), their USD value at the time, and timestamps whenever you buy Cogs. For Hive payments, the paying Hive username is also recorded, because that is how Hive transactions identify the sender. Purpose: crediting your purchase reliably, preventing fraud and double-crediting, and keeping required financial records (contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation).
Anti-cheat tokens — short-lived, single-use battle tokens tied to your wallet, deleted within minutes. Purpose: preventing reward exploits (legitimate interest).
Marketplace records — listings and completed sales in the Bazaar, identified by wallet addresses. Purpose: operating the player-to-player market and its cooldown rules.

Your browser also stores game data locally (your card collection cache and settings, e.g. in localStorage). That data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us beyond normal game requests. The WordPress software powering this website may set strictly functional cookies; we set no advertising or tracking cookies.

What we do NOT do

No analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no pixels).
No advertising, no ad networks, no sale or rental of your data to anyone.
No profiling and no automated decision-making about you.

Third parties involved

Immutable — sign-in to Clockwork uses Immutable Passport. Your email and identity for login are processed by Immutable under their own privacy policy; we never receive or store your email.
Render — hosts our game server and database.
Our web host — serves the WordPress website.
Wallet providers — Phantom (Solana) and Hive Keychain run in your browser under their own policies; we receive only the resulting transaction data.
Public blockchains — Immutable zkEVM, Solana and Hive are public ledgers. Transactions you make (payments, card mints, trades) are recorded on those networks permanently and publicly by design. We cannot edit or erase blockchain data — nobody can. Please consider this before transacting.

Retention

Game state is kept while you play. Anti-cheat tokens are deleted within about 15 minutes. Payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting and dispute resolution. Expired cooldowns are cleaned automatically.

Your rights (GDPR)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data our server holds about your wallet address, and you may object to or ask us to restrict processing. Write to spacemisfit68@gmail.com — include a message signed by your wallet, or contact us from a channel that lets us verify you control the address, so we don't act on someone else's request. Note that deleting server data means losing your Cogs balance and game progress, and that on-chain data (your NFTs and transactions) is outside anyone's power to erase. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Croatia, the Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

Children

The game involves real-money purchases and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to make purchases.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.

Terms of Service

1 · The service

Clockwork is a browser-based card game operated by Space Misfit ("we"). It is currently in open beta: features, card balance, drop rates, prices, rewards and game rules may change at any time as development continues. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

2 · Your account and eligibility

You access the game with your own blockchain wallet (via Immutable Passport). You are responsible for the security of your wallet and keys — we can never recover keys or reverse transactions signed by your wallet. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to make purchases, and you may only use the service where doing so is legal.

3 · Virtual currency and purchases

Cogs are the game's premium currency, purchasable with IMX, SOL, or HIVE/HBD. Gold is earned through play. Neither is money, neither accrues value, and neither is redeemable for cash from us.
Blockchain payments are final and irreversible by nature. Once a payment is confirmed on-chain and Cogs are credited to your account, the purchase is complete and non-refundable. By purchasing you expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge losing any statutory withdrawal right for that purchase once delivery is complete.
If a confirmed payment fails to credit due to a technical fault on our side, contact us — our system retries automatically and a verified paid transaction will always be honored.
Prices in crypto are quoted live against USD and are valid only for the short window shown at checkout.

4 · NFTs and ownership

Cards you mint or buy are NFTs on Immutable zkEVM held in your wallet — they are yours to keep, transfer, or sell. What you own is the token; the game's artwork, names, and software remain our intellectual property, licensed to you for personal use in connection with the game. NFTs are collectibles for gameplay: we make no promise of value, resale price, or investment return, and nothing on this site is financial advice.

5 · The Bazaar (player marketplace)

Players trade cards directly with each other. The seller receives 95% of the sale price; a 5% marketplace fee supports the game.
Purchased cards enter a 3-day cooldown before they can be used or re-listed, as an anti-abuse measure.
Listings can be cancelled by the seller any time before purchase. Completed sales are final.

6 · Fair play

Exploiting bugs, automating gameplay, tampering with client code or requests, abusing the energy or reward systems, or interfering with other players' use of the service is prohibited. We may correct fraudulently obtained balances and may suspend or permanently ban wallets that cheat. On-chain assets in your wallet remain yours even if game access is suspended.

7 · Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" during beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by blockchain network failures, wallet compromise, price volatility of any token, third-party services (Immutable, Render, wallet providers), or your own transaction mistakes (e.g. sending funds to a wrong address). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing limits the statutory rights of consumers in the EU.

8 · Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to play after that constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the game or features with reasonable notice where practicable — your NFTs remain in your wallet regardless.

9 · Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Croatia, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions and disputes: spacemisfit68@gmail.com — we prefer solving things directly and quickly.
